In addition to core General Practice, we offer the following additional services:
Contraception - Including coil fittings, and insertion of implantable contraceptive devices
Minor Surgery - Including joint injections, toe-nail and skin lesion removal
Minor Injury Consultations - Including injuries needing stitches. Some injuries may be assessed at Eastfield Medical Centre, but then may require referral to the Accident and Emergency Department of Scarborough General Hospital
Substitute Prescribing - Assessment and treatment of opiate addiction following the Royal College of General Practitioners Substance Misuse and Management in General Practice guidelines
Education - Including undergraduate teaching of 4th and 5th year medical students from The Hull-York Medical School, in addition to training post-graduate doctors to become General Practitioners
