Practice Management

The practice is run by the Partners and a Management Team. The team is lead by the Practice Manager, Michelle Frankish and also includes an Assistant Practice Manager, Data Quality Manager, Nurse Lead and Reception Lead. The Management Team is involved in leading all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology.

Mrs Michelle Frankish (Practice Manager)

I started working at Eastfield Medical Centre as a Receptionist in 2002 having moved from the hospitality industry. After my first week I instantly knew that I wanted to stay at Eastfield for a long time.  Over the last 15 years I have progressed within the team and became the Practice Manager in 2011.  My day to day job is extremely varied but my prime responsibility is to ensure that our dedicated team are providing the best possible care for our patients as well as looking after our staff and the finances.  Although working within the NHS is challenging, I get immense job satisfaction from being part of this great team.  As our Practice is continually expanding, I look forward to being part of this growth over the coming years contributing to excellent patient care. In my spare time I enjoy foreign travel and spending time with my energetic grand-children and crazy cocker spaniel J

Mrs Deborah Hepples (Assistant Practice Manager)

I first joined the team at Eastfield Medical Centre in 2014 as an Administrator. In 2016 I took up the role of Assistant Practice Manager, working as part of the Management Team in order to help provide our patients with the best quality care. We have a great team of people working here at Eastfield Medical Centre and my role is extremely varied, something which I really enjoy.

Mrs Linda Cook (Data Quality Manager)

After being a clinical systems trainer for over 10 years I decided I would like to become part of a GP Surgery team. I started working at Eastfield Medical Centre in July 2016 and have thoroughly enjoyed my role since. My job title is ‘Data Quality Manager’ and my main roles include: Data Collection, Invites to patients, Financial claims and Data Accuracy. I am part of the Management Team here at Eastfield and between us we ensure that all of our patients get the best possible service and care from us.

Nurse Judith North (Lead Nurse)

I have lived in Yorkshire all my life. I completed my nurse training in 2002 and initially worked in A&E. I moved into Practice Nursing in 2007 and worked in a surgery in town. I moved to Eastfield as nurse manager in 2016. Even though I am able to perform all the usual Practice nurse tasks I concentrate mainly on chronic disease management, mainly diabetes, asthma and COPD.

I have recently completed my student mentorship course so Eastfield will soon be accepting nursing students.

I have 2 grown up children and a dog which keep me busy.
